bahamas adventure for 8
From endless pineapple fields to white and pink sand beaches to secluded coves and miles of coastlines, Eleuthera defines The Bahamas. Much of the architecture and way of life was influenced by British Loyalists who settled here in the 1700s. Governor's Harbour, the capital of Eleuthera, is the largest town on the island and one of the prettiest.
Your base for your Caribbean visit to Eleuthera is this large and elegant home, designed in the Bahamian Colonial style, with living areas that open out to gracious wrap-around verandas, and a private swimming pool and outdoor dining area that offer the serenity of island life. The house is fully air conditioned with amenities including wireless internet, flat-screen Cable TV, and DVD player with DVD library. There is a gas grill and al-fresco dining area on the ground floor with a wrap-around veranda, and a roof-top deck that provides a spacious setting for enjoying spectacular sunsets and sweeping views of the ocean. It is an 8-minute walk (or 3-minute golf-cart ride in your 6+ seat electric golf cart) down the hill to famous French Leave Beach, a mile-long crescent of pink sand that has been ranked in the top 20 of the world. A 5-minute walk (2-minute golf cart ride) in the other direction takes you to the town of Governor’s Harbour.
Your guide for your full day ocean safari tour is a native of Eleuthera and a licensed captain with more than thirty years of experience in diving and deep sea fishing. Join him on a special Caribbean adventure that offers swimming with the famous Bahama pigs, snorkeling, reef exploration, beach combing and much more - he will customize your experience to make it as relaxing or adventurous as you wish!
