galapagos islands for 2

ISLAND HOPPING LUXURY

To journey to the Galapagos Islands is to take part in a world like no other you’ve ever encountered. Glimpse the unspoiled animal world that gave Darwin his insights and explore the archipelago of volcanic islands that is blessed with pleasant weather year-round. You will be snorkeling pristine turquoise waters, anticipating the next heron’s dive below the surface for prey and searching for sharks hidden in the mangroves.

Explore Colonial Quito, a city of narrow cobblestone streets lined with whitewashed walls and historic churches. You will explore the history of Ecuadorian cacao and have a chocolate tasting to end your day. Explore the spectacular turquoise waters of the Itabaca Channel where you’ll enjoy kayaking, snorkeling and stand up paddleboarding. Perched high on a hillside overlooking the ocean, you’ll arrive at your tented camp, home for the next two nights, where the sounds of nature will serenade you in the evenings, and the Milky Way will be your night light. Dinners will be sumptuous three course affairs, prepared by expert chefs in an open-air kitchen in the main lodge.

You will embark a motor yacht and enjoy a daily excursion where the opportunities are endless - bike the Wetlands Trail to visit iguana colonies, mangrove trees, beaches, and historic sites, hike up the Sierra Negra volcano to the rim of the Volcan Chico. Your efforts will be rewarded when you reach the rim of the Sierra Negra crater, the second largest in the world. Finally, relax on the beaches of Puerto Villamil.
