James Beard, acclaimed cookbook author and teacher, was a champion of American cuisine who educated and mentored generations of professional chefs and food enthusiasts. Today the James Beard Foundation (JBF) continues in the same spirit, offering events and programs designed to educate, inspire, entertain and foster a deeper understanding of our culinary culture. JBF is recognized as the center of Americas culinary community.
